WHAT IS SOCIAL INNOVATION WEEKEND?
Social Innovation Weekend (SIW) is an intense three-day experience in which students, professionals and community members use entrepreneurial skills to tackle a significant social challenge.
JOIN SIW 2020
We need great people, like you, who want to help end hunger and food insecurity.
Social Innovation Weekend is a hackathon style program for Miami University student participants. Students will join small startup teams and develop new programs / services / products to help address food insecurity. Student teams will go all-in for 48 hours straight and pitch their ideas to a panel of subject matter experts and Startup Cincy ecosystem partners at the end of the weekend. Miami students also earn course credit for participating in SIW.
